Rita is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Neuropsychotherapy Practitioner-Certified (NPT-C). She integrates principles of neuropsychology into her practice to help clients understand how thoughts, emotions, and behavior connect. She works with individuals ages 13 and up experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, ADHD, and stress, and supports couples navigating infidelity, separation, divorce, communication issues, and family dynamics. Rita also guides parents in managing behavioral concerns and their impact on the family.
Her approach is collaborative, systemic, holistic, and strength-based. She works alongside clients as a team, guiding them on their journey to wellness while emphasizing the mind-body connection and the belief that people are the experts of their own lives.
Outside of therapy, Rita enjoys nature, continuing her education, reading, coloring, writing poetry (sometimes sharing it at open mics), trying new experiences, and spending time with her two children and her fur baby.
